Shhhhhh

Inside the home, the warm water central heating system is virtually silent. Water is circulated through the pipework from the heat source to the radiators or underfloor pipes but there is no noise created or transferred in this process.

There are no mechanical fans within the rooms of the house and although air heat pump companies fight for being the quietness champion, they are noisy compared to warm water central heating.

This elimination of background noise makes a home a retreat from the busyness of life.

Heat Source Location

There will be a very low noise from the central heating boiler or heat pump. But usually these are located outside the house or in the garage.

Careful positioning of the heat source if outside is required so as not to disturb neighbours. Positioning outside a bedroom window is also something to be avoided in case of light sleepers.

But generally with the advice from Central Heating New Zealand, an ideal position can be obtained.
